FDANZ

Simplicity Bereavement is proud to be a member of the Funeral Directors’ Association of New Zealand (FDANZ) and the NZ Embalmers Association. 

Founded in 1937, the FDANZ currently represents approximately 85 per cent of funeral homes in New Zealand. 

Funeral homes should maintain the highest standards for funeral services by qualified and experienced funeral directors and embalmers. The FDANZ promotes quality, expertise, and integrity in the funeral profession and the training and education of association funeral directors and embalmers.

As members of the FDANZ, Simplicity Bereavement, follow the Rules of the Association and a strict Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. In keeping with its commitment to high standards of professionalism and ethics, the Association has introduced an independent disputes resolution process.

The team at Simplicity are fourth-generation within the funeral industry with over 90 years of experience. We have always strived to provide high-quality funerals in the community. That is why we have joined the FDANZ and its members because we share the same values, standards and practices.
