The fantail of Maui has called, tis a tragedy, a tragedy! A mighty totara of the realm of Tane, Richard (Dick) Mutunga Rewi.

Richard Rewi: sunrise 30.12.1941, sunset 8.06.2022.

Beloved son of Reginald Hiha and Wiraminangahuka Rewi. Brother of Pauline Hudson (deceased) and David Rewi (deceased), whangai brother to the Jones whanau (Manutuke), loving husband of Gloria, Dad to Paula, Violet (deceased), Aaron Martin (whangai son), Bronwyn and John, and Dallas and Chris.  Grandad to Nikolas, Madison, Seren and Cerys.

The funeral will be held on Thursday 16th June, 11.00am, at Petane Marae, followed by the burial at Western Hills then back to Petane for te hakari.
