The Kahungunu Funeral Package

The Kahungunu Funeral Package entitles all registered Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Card Members to a discount on our Full Service Package.

Professional service fee, including the arrangement of all necessary documentation, and receiving instruction
Transportation of tūpāpaku to our premises
Mortuary care, including embalming or sanitary treatment in preparation for dressing and viewing
Standard sized fully trimmed and furnished Kilkenny casket
Transfer home, marae or to another venue
100 service programs
Funeral attendant and hearse transportation for burial or cremation
Online funeral pānui
Large casket spray
Registration of death certificate

The Kahungunu Funeral Package entitles all registered Ngati Kahungunu Iwi Card Members to a discount on our full-service package. Eligibility for the Kahungunu Funeral Package requires registration with Simplicity, which includes nga matawaka and children under 18 years of age.
The hearse transfers included in the package are within 50km of our premises and will incur an extra cost if outside this area
Extra costs are incurred for services requested outside of those listed
Cremation or public cemetery burial fees are not included in the funeral package and are required prior to the funeral service day
Embalming required over a standard size will incur an extra cost
Caskets required above a standard size or of a design not included in the package will incur an extra cost
Casket spray flowers and colours are dependent on the season and availability
After-hours fees are applicable for after 6 pm hours, weekends and public holidays
Prices are subject to change. This includes increases in material costs, cremation & burial fees.
