A beloved son of Wiremu Ferris and Makurata Ferris (nee Crawford).

Brother of Guy, Bill (deceased), Pamela, Mere, Raiha, Jackson, Donna, Michelle, Okianga, Blair, Stanley (deceased), and Maria (deceased).

Father of Hamuera and Kara, and loving grandfather to Tuwhakairiora, Rakairoa, Maia, Keanu, Ghia, and Nikau, and a loving Uncle to many.

Surrounded by his loving family, he passed away peacefully on the 26th of January 2024, the same day he turned 64.

He is currently lying in state at Mangaroa Marae, Raukawa Rd, Bridge Pa. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 30th January 2024 at 11am followed by burial next to his parents and brother at the Korongata Urupa.
